Streaming video content.

Are you finding it difficult to access the TV shows and movies you want, when you want? A great solution very popular overseas are ‘streaming services’ where you can get content over the internet. Providers like ‘Netflix,’ ‘Presto,’ ‘Stan,’ ‘Fetch,’ and ‘Quickflix’ do a great job of making this easy.

‘Presto’ is backed by Seven and Foxtel. While Foxtel will still be available as it is now, the movies that are on ‘Presto’ will actually be similar to the Foxtel’s subscription. So if you have Foxtel we don’t recommend that you subscribe to a ‘Presto’ account. Telstra is also linked in with Foxtel, it’s called a ‘T-box’, ensure you compare prices with between the companies mentioned above. Most of these companies offer a 30 day free trial period, which should help you decide which is best suited for you if you decide to start streaming the TV and movie content straight to your home. Most TV’s now are also Wi-Fi compatible so that is certainly a plus!

It is important to be aware that none of these sites give you the latest release movies. Think of them like a virtual video store, with a monthly subscription and without the temptation of chocolate and ice-creams near the checkout. If you’re wanting to see the movies just released in cinema, you will still need to go to a cinema.

It is also important to check your data limits with your internet provider as you may need to review this if you plan to start streaming these items. You may find yourself up for a hefty bill if you go over your download limit with your service provider.
