What is on your screen?

I'm sure many of you have had pop-ups come up on your computer screens.  Did you actually read what the message was or did you just click on it to accept of close it?

More pop-ups are occurring and trying to trick us into accepting programs onto our computers OR warning us that your computer needs something done to continue to function at its best.  Do you know the difference?

We are noticing more and more that we seem to be becoming complacent with regards to reading the full details on our screens.  We seem to have taught ourselves how to speed read and only really notice a few of the key words.  In doing this threats can slip through cause you didn't really grasp the real concept of the message provided on your screen.  A good example going around social media at the moment is the following phrase, testing our minds ability to string the sentence out of non-english words:

“It deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tinhg is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.”

There seems to be so much going on in our lives now that we don't really slow down and read everything.  However, when it comes to pop-ups on your computer you NEED to.  Just to make sure you are clicking on and accepting the right things and declining the wrong things.

So make the time to read what your computer is telling you to do, it could make the difference between a pleasing time to a frustrating time.

If you are ever unsure, ring your local computer experts.  It could be that your computer is wanting to tell you it needs a service to clear out all those unwanted things you have said YES to in the past.
