Multi-Touch gestures on your notebook trackpad:
Tap to click
Tap with one finger to click.
Secondary click: Double-tap with two fingers to perform the equivalent equivalent of Control-click or right-click.
Smart zoom: Double-tap with two fingers to zoom in and back out of a webpage or PDF.

You can learn more shortcuts by looking at the right side of any menu, it should list an alternate keyboard shortcut if one is available.
I hope these shortcuts have helped you, remember you are in control of your computer not the computer is in control of you (even though it may feel that way at times).
