Too many rewards cards?

The other day I was watching someone fumble through their wallet at the register looking for their rewards card. ‘There must be an alternative’ I thought to myself. Even I hate carrying around such a large wallet. But we are all collecting more and more rewards and loyalty cards. We like the idea of free gifts or discounts when we shop, whatever helps these days. 

So after a quick ‘Google’ I found that there are a few options available to help us streamline our cards storage and also encourage us to embrace technology as well.  

Rewardle, Stocard and even the Commonwealth Bank, these are just a few of the free app’s available that list a large range of Australian retailers and other loyalty programs. 
These app’s enable you to scan or manually type in your details from your loyalty cards and accounts to save them. So you don’t need to keep carrying out that card and making finding that rewards card just that little bit easier and faster. 

These app’s are suitable for iOS, Android or Windows devices. You can even take advantage of them working with your apple watch and android wearables. So you may not even need to pull out your phone or tablet, you can just scan your wrist.  

Some of you may worry about the cards not scanning due to older POS systems, however, the cashier would be able to enter in your loyalty number manually from your device screen. 

So why not try one of these, you may find that the time you spend at the register is a lot less in future. You can ever do away with your chunky wallet and never miss that opportunity to collect those points or discounts.
