Which Browser is best to use?

Everyone in some way or another searches Google for information at some point. The question is which browser are you using to search in? 

There are a few options out there you can use to search the big wide web. Each brand offers its own reasons to use theirs and it comes down to what the end user is comfortable with and how they are searching on the web as well.  

A browser enables you to search for things with key words/phrases/pics/etc on the internet/web of things. A browsers is essentially your search hub, it can enable you to find that one thing you have been wondering or looking for and load web pages. It provides a plethora of information at your fingertips.  

Each Browser will have its own features and reasons to use theirs, they will also offer ways for you to customise your browsing experience to make it as simple as possible when you return over and over again.

Safari – Apple web browser, will only show on an iOS or OS device. First released in 2003 with Mac OS X Panther.

Microsoft Edge – inbuilt browser provided by Microsoft on all new computers. It was developed in conjunction with the release of Windows 10

Google Chrome - is the most popular web browser being used worldwide. It was developed in 2008 and will work with both Windows and Mac devices.

Chromium – developed by Google over 10 years ago now. It is an open source web browser allowing users to create their own browsers and is a simpler form of Google Chrome.

Mozilla Firefox - first released in 2002 and could be used for both Windows, MacOS and Linux. There are rumors that Mozilla are working on releasing a premium browser and they are also looking at modifying their logo to reduce the look of the well-known fox.

Internet Explorer – first released in 1995 by Windows and is the oldest browser. It is noted that this is soon to be decommissioned by Microsoft in January 2020 

We all need to use a browser, our recommendation would be stick with Safari for Apple and use Google Chrome for Windows. Either way just keep in mind that ALL of them will have companies viaing for your attention through target marketing. It is the new way to getting current information out across the world.

Be safe when using the internet and read the pop-ups that come up, it could be warning you not to continue to an unsafe website.
