Computers and Christmas

So we are 4 weeks away from Christmas and I’m sure everyone is flat out trying to get everything organised.

I bet your family and friends have at least one IT item on their Christmas shopping list.

There will be a lot of cheaper options being advertised for both notebooks and tablets and as this is the 2nd year with tablets, there will be a lot to choose from.

The most important thing to ask yourself is “what will this device be used for and by who?”

Don’t get caught out just because you see a device advertised at a cheap price.  It usually means that it is low powered and most probably restricted in its functionality.

For those who already have these devices there are a lot of accessories you can buy for both, these being from wireless speakers and headphones to portable projectors.  The latest thing seems to be your wearable fitness devices.  All these additional accessories are great add-ons for Christmas.

Remember you can always buy a voucher from your local computer store for service on existing devices or even to setup any new devices you may be lucky enough to get this year.

Either way, technology will play a big part on the Christmas list.  Don’t feel pressured into buying something just because it’s on the list, shop around and ensure you know the purpose of the gift, you don’t want to get caught out buying something that is not compatible or suitable for the receivers needs.

As always the friendly staff and ISEEK COMPUTING are on hand to help with any IT issues or advice you may need.  Just give us a call and we can help you.

All the staff at ISEEK wish all the readers a happy and safe festive season!
