Disposal of your hardware
We all have that one computer or old hard drive from within sitting in a corner collecting dust. Whether you have no idea what to do with it or it is a handy door stop, it’s good to know how to dispose of your hardware correctly and responsibly.
Your main concern should be your data. You do not want others accessing your old hard drives with your sensitive information on them. The Windmill Hill Waste Transfer Station located on Nixon road, Hahndorf (next to Mount Barker district dump) will also take computers free of charge.

Check with your local schools, they may want some for students to either practice pulling apart or using parts for art projects.
